At AurA Hair and Beauty, we are committed to providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits. To help us achieve this, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review our policies. These ensure a comfortable environment for everyone and help us deliver the highest level of service.

Courtesy to Others​

We wish for your time at the salon to be as relaxing as possible. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, we kindly ask that you:

-Arrive to your appointment on time.

                                            -Set your phone to silent and use headphones where possible

                                                                                           -Attend your appointment alone, as we do not have the seating facilities for anyone without an appointment booked.

Children in Salon

We ask that Children without an appointment do not attend for their and our client's safety. We cannot perform our best if we have one eye on children's safety and one eye on our job. Children without an appointment are no longer permitted in the salon with the exception of breastfeeding mums, we do ask that you are fully responsible for the safety of your baby and perhaps have someone close by.

Under 16's Hair colouring Policy: Following industry guidelines, we are unable to perform colouring services on anyone under the age of 16.

Allergy Testing:  

For your safety, an allergy alert test must be carried out at least 48hrs before any colouring service which includes brow tints. This includes all new clients and those who have not had a colour service with us in the last 6 months, and includes any recent medical change.

Cancellations/Reschedules or late arrivals

48-Hour Cancellation/Reschedule Policy: We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. This can also be done using your log in on the booking system should the salon be closed. This allows us to offer the appointment to someone else and prevents a loss of income.

In line with our cancellation policy (which is also noted upon your booking on the booking system).

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within or less that 48 hours may incur a charge of 50% of your booking. This is noted on your booking where you will be asked to read and confirm that you understand the policy to safe guard our business and employees.

No-Shows: If you do not attend your appointment without notification, you will be charged the full amount of the booked service.

Online Booking Terms

​

Booking Confirmation: All online bookings are considered provisional until confirmed by you and the salon. Once the services have been booked either online by you, or by a stylist in salon, you will receive a notification for you to confirm via email or SMS, once you have read the promoted policies and confirmed these, your booking will be secured.

Service Selection: We have created pre-built packages for your ease of online bookings. Please ensure you have selected to correct service to allow adequate time for your appointment. If you are unsure of what to select, please contact the salon via any social media/Google/or contact information for help.

Privacy: Your personal information will be securely stored on our booking system and used only for your booking and service records.

Booking Amendments: If you need to reschedule a booking, this can be done online up to 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours, the booking system will prompt you to cancel. Please get in touch with the salon directly, where a late reschedule or cancellation fee may be applied and help you to find a new day/time.

Our Service Guarantee 

We aim to ensure that everyone who visits is satisfied with their experience. If you are not entirely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or get in touch with us within 48 hours after your appointment, and we will happily make adjustments free of charge within one week of your original booking, provided by the stylist who performed your service.

​Please note: As part of your consultation and before any colour session, especially for colour corrections that we don't ever promise that we can get you to your desired hair goal in one sitting. More often than not, in this case, we correct specific areas, setting you up for another session and build towards your hair goals. We do however, verbalise what we expect from the session booked and execute this to the best of our abilities and being mindful of hair health.

Photography

At your booking or consultation, we do ask your permission to take photos of your hair before, during and after. These will be stored in your file, where we will apply notes taken from your consultation, along with any inspiration images. After your service, we may ask you for a finished photo of our work to post on social media as a way of marketing a service or explaining a process. If you are not comfortable with this, you have the right to refuse the picture being posted, but it will be kept in your file. Your face does not need to be shown if you prefer to remain discreet.

​Product Return Policy

Your customer rights entitle you to a refund or replacement of products that are damaged. In addition, we also accept returns of unused goods/product within 7 days of purchase if you have changed your mind. Please provide a receipt of purchase.

​

Vouchers and Gift Cards

We proudly support local charities and events by donating gift cards to raise money. These are only redeemable for the value or service donated (not including retail products)

All vouchers and Gift Cards must be used in the time and date supplied, and not redeemable for cash.
